Redpath delivered the alteration of two retail units at 185-221 Buchanan Street for our client, LandSec, which were previously occupied by GAP and Paperchase.
This involved down takings, strip out, alterations and merger of the two existing retail units to form one large unit for fit out by an incoming tenant.
We carried out alterations to the existing structural steel to suit the new layout for the store. The floor levels across the two units had a difference of 500mm and we levelled this to create a seamless floor throughout the unit. Structural strengthening to the existing front steel frame facade has enabled a new curtain walling and glazing system to be installed. Fire stopping and new mains power installation has completed the project.
