The Culzean, 36 Fenfield Street, Glasgow

The Culzean (formerly Culzean House) is a seven-storey traditional commercial office building on Renfield Street in Glasgow.

There are currently three tenants in the building including a restaurant and bar on the ground floor. Redpath delivered CAT A+ fit out over two floors, reception and common areas. The aim of the project was to bring 400 to 5,000 sq.ft bright, contemporary styled, fully air conditioned spaces to prospective Glasgow tenants. The new offices have provided meeting rooms, kitchen facilities, pre-installed IT connectivity and a stunning new entrance.

Our project started with a full strip-out on both floors, reception and common areas, prepared for new MEP installations and fit out. From an MEP perspective, we installed fully exposed services, complimented by painted soffits.  Each of the five suites have their own sub-mains and board installed, allowing for more attractive lease potential. VRF system was installed with supply extract vent directly to the AHU installed on the roof.

Design features of the project include glazed partitions incorporating contemporary charcoal powder coated frame, complimentary secondary glazing units to the windows, bespoke kitchen and tea preps, carpet and luxury vinyl floor tiles and a thoughtfully selected mix of pendant, suspended and track lights to suit the different zones.
