Redpath has delivered the internal refurbishment of the existing medical records dept on the ground floor of Wishaw General Hospital to create the first 17 bed Trauma ward for NHS Lanarkshire.
The construction works to provide 17 new single bedrooms complete with ensuite shower facilities included soft strip of all medical records equipment and furnishings, demolition of existing internal partitions, installation of new below ground drainage and disconnection manhole, new internal partitions throughout, new SHTM compliant medical M&E services, new external access doors, new flooring, doors and all other essential trauma lifesaving services.
With our healthcare and refurbishment expertise we have helped realise the expectations of the numerous project stakeholders whilst managing the construction process in a unique environment and in unique global circumstances. The final product is of a very high quality with zero defects at occupation, therefore preventing potential disruption of care to the new patients. Our collaborative approach with the Design Team and our NHS colleagues provided the necessary vehicle to enable our productivity, ensure our supply chain was always informed and created proactive and reactive energy needed on live refurbishment projects where services and business continuity of adjacencies is paramount to the success of the project.
