We recently transformed this neglected building (previously used as a bank) in Glasgow's city centre into a centre of excellence for general healthcare.
This has created a fully compliant day surgery and hospital facility with two general anaesthetic theatres, five day-beds/bedrooms and recovery rooms, as well as all other necessary ancillary and support functions – such as reception, waiting areas, and admission/discharge lounge.
A large open plan office space for marketing and administration staff has been created on the newly constructed floor within the space that was the original banking hall.
Our works included full structural conversion of the first and second floor including replacement curtain walling to Bath Street, new mezzanine floor infill, new steel staircases, wet and dry plant rooms, new medical gas installations and medical gas delivery systems, full replacement M&E installations including all TR19 ventilation requirements.
